BE MINDFUL

It’s easy to go crazy with all the delicious food that the holidays bring. Intentionally packing your plate with protein and veggies will help with your sugar and carb portion control this holiday season which will help you to feel physically healthier. When you’re mindful about the choices you make you will feel empowered!

SEEK BALANCE

Attempt to balance the sugar intake with more veggies, the extended family time with your nuclear family time, the materialistic with taking care of others. This will help your holiday season to feel well rounded and you to feel more peace.

DRINK WATER

Staying hydrated helps to keep your body functioning correctly. The holidays are a fun time for lots of fun drinks, but they’re not always the healthiest. When you want to enjoy a festive drink make sure to have a glass of water along with it to keep yourself hydrated while enjoying your favorite holiday drink!

CREATE BOUNDARIES

The holidays can be a really busy, stressful time of year. It’s easy to feel the exhaustion that comes from all the hustle and bustle. Try to make time for sleep and give yourself permission to take time for YOU by setting up boundaries for yourself. I often do this when it comes to bedtime during the holidays so I avoid becoming overtired.

Along with the holidays can come financial stress, social anxiety, and even feelings of depression.
